The Framework for Teaching (FFT) was first developed by Charlotte Danielson in 1996. In 2007, the 2nd edition of the Framework for Teaching was released with updated components, elements, and rubrics and, in 2013, the Danielson Group (DG) published the FFT Evaluation Instrument. In a continued commitment to reflect learning and research in the professional field, the latest version by the Danielson Group (DG) contributors is scheduled to be released in early 2022.
