An Introduction to the Framework for Teaching - Online

June 1 - 5, 2020

This virtual workshop is for all educators interested in learning more about the Framework for Teaching and its potential to support great teaching. There will be two live synchronous (opening and closing) sessions and interactive, asynchronous modules. The workshop will introduce the four domains of the Framework and the Framework for Teaching Clusters, as well as beliefs about teaching and learning implicit in both.

When Charlotte Danielson first published the Framework for Teaching in 1996, she put her phone number in the back of the book. She began getting calls as soon as the first copies were mailed. The demand was more than she could meet, so she pulled together a group of colleagues and designed learning experiences for adults that could be delivered across the country. This is how the Danielson Group and the Framework workshops were born.

Our workshops and institutes provide opportunities for practitioners to engage as learners with their colleagues and other peers from across the country and the world. We view these offerings as a chance to build knowledge and skill and as a first step toward realizing the value of the Framework to your professional growth and its potential to transform professional learning in your system.

Any of our workshops or institutes can be tailored to your needs and delivered locally as part of our on-site support.
