About this Workshop
Participants will have the opportunity to draw connections between the Framework and their own practice as we focus on putting the Framework to work as the centerpiece of a learning culture and teacher-directed inquiry.
Audience: All educators interested in learning more about the Framework and its potential to support great teaching.
Format: There will be two live, synchronous sessions (one the first day and the other on the last - each 2.5 hours). Participants will complete interactive, asynchronous modules (3 hours) between the two sessions and receive feedback from facilitators.
Total Time: 8 hours
Primary Outcomes:
- Develop foundational understanding of the Framework for Teaching (including its Assumptions, Common Themes, Domains, Components, and Clusters)
- Begin learning how to use the FFT and FFT Clusters to promote teacher growth

Live Opening Session: Monday
- Conducted via Zoom
- Facilitated by Danielson Group Framework Specialists
- Opportunities to interact with other participants through breakout rooms and interactive activities
Self-Paced Modules: Tuesday-Thursday
- Completed independently
- Modules include activities, videos and artifacts of classroom practice, journaling, asynchronous discussions, and group interactions
- Approximately 90 minutes of independent work
Live Closing Zoom Session: Friday
- Conducted via Zoom
- Facilitated by Danielson Group Framework Specialists
- Opportunities to interact with other participants through breakout rooms and interactive activities
